Sober Living for Men and Women
Program Requirements:
Commitment to Sobriety: Clients must demonstrate a genuine commitment to achieving andmaintaining sobriety from drugs and alcohol. This means abstaining from all mood and mind altering substances (including OTC medications that have potential for abuse) for the duration of a client’s participation in Second Chance Recovery Residences’ sober living program
Minimum Sobriety Period: Clients are required to complete a minimum period of sobriety before entering Second Chance Recovery Residences’ sober living program.
Age Requirement: Clients must be 18 years or older.
Capable of Independent Living: Clients must be medically and psychologically stable and capable of being responsible for all of their own medications.
Employment, Educational or Outpatient Treatment Engagement: To promote personal growth and independence clients are required to either attend school or be employed, actively engaged in community service and/or enrolled in outpatient treatment (intensive outpatient program or partial hospitalization program) throughout their participation in Second Chance Recovery Residences’ sober living program.
Willingness to Participate: Clients are required to actively engage in the recovery process (i.e.,getting a 12-step sponsor and working the steps with him or her), attending daily 12-step meetings, community meetings and other program activities.
Random Drug Testing & Breathalyzing: Clients must be willing to be subjected to regular and random drug testing and breathalyzing.
Adherence to House Rules: Clients must adhere to Second Chance Recovery Residences’ established house rules, including curfews, chores, and other guidelines designed to maintain a structured and supportive environment.
Financial Responsibility: Clients are required to contribute financially to cover Second Chance Recovery Residences’ then-existing fee schedule, fostering a sense of responsibility and accountability.

Our program is based on the principles of the 12 Step Program of Alcoholics Anonymous. It is through these principles that we are committed to maintaining our sober living environment.
